I caught the Berlin "bands reunited" the other night!
I like the way they did it, going to each individual member, on camera, and coaxing them into it. The look on Terri Nunn's face when they knocked on her door was priceless. She was hesitant but when she realized all the other members had signed on she said okay. She was especially worried about seeing John Crawford again considering their less than amicable break up but once those two met the whole thing started coming together.
They sounded just like they used to. Well, maybe a little rusty, but it was definitely great and they were all having fun and they obviously enjoyed being reunited with their old friends! Most of them hadn't seen each other for 17 years!
I had been invited to the show, being a member of Berlin's board, but it was totally not possible! Watching it now sure made me wish I'd found a way!
My only complaint is they only showed the reformed band playing 2 songs live. The show should have been longer and shown more of the performance but the lead-up to it was really wonderful too!
You might say it TOOK MY BREATH AWAY!

My lovely daughter and I picked up our special little girl, Jacy, today and spent a wonderful afternoon in the park with her! She is 5 years old and brought her favorite CD for us to listen to in the car.
I have now become a 'Hilary Duff' fan thanks to this beautiful child!!
Her 'Metamorphosis' CD really IS some good music!
Today was one of lifes precious moments for me!

I just grabbed a copy of The Runaway's Waiting for the night. From all my years of vinyl and cd collecting this is my first time finding this one. So it's great fun for sure.
